This review is for the copy center only - I would not recommend it. This is the second time I've had problems getting something printed with them. After the first time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but experienced problems the second time around as well.
I was apologizing to her for taking her time at this point because she was clearly unhappy with the situation, so I left with my print in an off color.
I don't dislike it, I was disappointed in it. About the only place in town to buy a computer and there were more empty spaces than there were demo computers. I came ready to buy and left empty handed.
The next day was a holiday, so I called the day after that. It took them a while to track down my order, but they discovered that it had been printed Friday (they just forgot to call). The lady on the phone is the reason I'm giving Staples 2 stars instead of 1, since she took the time to figure out how to help me.
Eric was an awesome salesman and all the other employees were on their game as well. They showed us their full attention from the moment we walked in and continued to help us through our whole shopping experience.
I sent my order a couple days ago in the morning and called to make sure they received it - they had. It was a simple and small order. They told me that it would be ready to pick up midafternoon, and that they would call me when it was ready. By 4:00, I hadn't received a call, so I called to check on the order. Someone who didn't work in the copy center answered the phone, I told him I was wondering if I could pick up order up, and he said he'd find the employee working in the copy center and have her give me a call. I never received a phone call.
I went down to the store to pick my order up, but one of my 3 prints was the wrong size! It was only a quarter of an inch too big, but that quarter inch would have to be cut off the graphic for it to fit in my frame. The girl helping me wasn't happy when I asked her if she could reprint it. The first reprint was very stretched and pixelated, and the color changed, so I again asked her if she could reprint. She did, and this time it was the right size, but still not the right color.
To be fair, 2 of my 3 prints were find when I went to pick them up. I may have just gotten unlucky with my experience here, but since it has happened twice, I will try out a different place in town.
I asked for single sided copies even though some of the 140 page document was double sided. I pointed out that pages were missing and not copied. So now she gives me 50 double sided pages. I asked for single pages for a reason. Wasted my time and paper. Grace M at 1000 South Dewey, North Platte, NE didn't care.
