I would not recommend the South Platte Terrace Apartments. They will charge you ungodly rates when you move out, and you will almost never get your deposit back. Reasonable wear and tear does not exist in their book. There is constant crime in their parking lots as a result of no security. Many cars & apartments have been damaged due to vandals. They do not maintain many things and then charge you for them upon the end of your lease.
South Platte Terrace and their companies are crooks. Nothing more.

Getting off my year contract. Trying to get the dishwasher fixed since october. Apparently the office secretary can troubleshoot the problem from the office because there are more issues with it than "I need to use a rinse aid." If the maintenance man was in my apartment he would have seen the cascade and the jet dri sitting on the table. Also I live on the 3rd floor and the air conditioner is a crucial item to have. Talked to the repair man last year and he told me that the AC units are old and are prone to break down. My electric bill went from about $40 in the cold months to $200 a month in the hot months. I came home one night around 8:30 pm to a 100 degree house with a frozen AC. They called in the AC guy and all he did was pound off the ice on the pipe and wait 30 minutes to start up the AC. He also checked the air filter and it was a 30 day filter. Not really a good thing cutting corners. Neither me or my roommate have seen the maintenance guy change out the filter since then. Also rates are going up beginning Febuary 1st and I for one am not going to pay more for less of an apartment than I should have.
