Nice little place. The state does a good job of keeping this place cleaned up.
Fun and to fish or get in the water. Free access to sandy beaches is pretty awesome
Get place to fish and camp . if u go there people will come up and ask if ur catching any thing and will help out if ur not
This is a Beautiful Lake with very kind people and clean showers and restrooms. We tent camped here for an evening and it was a saving grace as we were passing through. The Lake is clean and Beautiful. The park is very clean, and there are water location spots that are plentiful if you are tent camping.
This is a little Hidden Gem south of North Platte Highway 80. It's about 5 miles south it's a campground right on the lake. No amenities to speak of....however, water, pay showers and a dump station are available. You can camp right next to the lake. I was on the side where the exit Canal is located. I was told that there is a full-service campground on the other side of the lake I didn't go over there . This Campground has lots of spaces mostly level and No Reservations. $6 a night for Nebraska residents and $8 a night for out-of-state residents.
