Dr. Schafer is competent and caring. He healed some very serious foot problems brought on by peripheral neuropathy, both thru the wound care facility at Great Plains hospital and his office. I was facing the very real threat of possible amputation because of deep wounds and infections, over a period of 6 - 8 months he completely healed both feet. Is currently doing an after care program of once a month visits to his office.
