You may arrive up to 1 hour early (You SHOULD arrive 1 hour early because it can on a bad day take 50 min to get past the guard shack)
Like most Wal-Mart DC's they take forever to unload you use up your hours won't let u park on site and charge u a $50 extortion i mean Lumper Fee for the privilege
I thought I had seen the worst until I came to north Platte walmart dc. They have you arrive early an bump a dock before going to receiving. Then wait for an hour in line with other drivers while the secretary did her nails, we waited! Then she left to get coffee, we waited! One person to take care of 20 drivers. Then they tried to say some of us were late, yes after arriving an hour early, what nerve. The supervisor in the morning was rude. Funny how they let the lady at the window file her nails in between waiting on drivers paperwork! I almost forgot to mention I was there over 12 hours, I keep my paperwork as proof!!!
Easy in and out. Typical walmart. Can only arrive 2 hours before appt . Pages you when load is try. No longer makes u pay for unload. New system in place where they bill or it's prepaid.
(Update fall 2017) the extortion fee is now automated and charged directly to the carriers.
Hate Wal-Mart. They think they own the world and answer to know one. Always avoid when possible. How can they charge drivers for stuff they have ordered? That's like charging your mail man for the letters he delivers to you, not cool. Hate Wal-Mart.
